Sustainable energy is a form of electricity that meet our today’s call for of power without setting them in danger of getting expired or depleted and can be used time and again once more.

  • The sun is all we need.
  • Fossil fuels get more subsidies.
  • Water wheels were once used to generate power.
  • Fossil fuels get more subsidies.
  • Costa Rica went entirely renewable.

Fossil fuel is a term used to describe a set of energy resources that have been formed while ancient plants and organisms had been subjected to severe heat and pressure over thousands and thousands of years. An energy supply that has zero emissions, provides electrical energy round-the-clock and propels our society into the future.

Biomass is natural fabric that comes from plants and animals, and it's far a renewable source of strength.Biomass includes saved energy from the sun. plant life soak up the solar's strength in a technique called photosynthesis. while biomass is burned, the chemical power in biomass is released as heat. Biomass may be burned directly or converted to liquid biofuels or biogas that may be burned as fuels.

  • Biomass is always available and can be produced as a renewable resource
  •  Biomass fuel from agriculture wastes maybe a secondary product that adds value to agricultural crop
  •  Growing Biomass crops produce oxygen and use up carbon dioxide
  •  The use of waste materials reduce landfill disposal and makes more space for everything else
  •  Carbon Dioxide which is released when Biomass fuel is burned, is taken in by plants
  •  Less money spent on foreign oil.

Biofuel is extracted or produced from renewable resources.Biofuels performs like normal fossil fuel.

  •  It causes less air pollution when compared to the normal diesel fuel.
  •  It is biodegradable fuel hence reduce the soil contamination and also underground water contamination
  •  Biofuel is more expensive than normal fuel.
  • Biofuel as fossil fuels cannot be transportd using pipelines.

Solar cells can be arranged into large groupings called arrays. These arrays, composed of many thousands of individual cells, can function as central electric power stations, converting sunlight into electrical energy for distribution to industrial, commercial, and residential users. Solar cells in much smaller configurations, commonly referred to as solar cell panels or simply solar panels, have been installed by homeowners on their rooftops to replace or augment their conventional electric supply.

Solar power is the important thing to a clean energy future . Each day, the solar gives off a ways extra electricity than we want to electricity everything on the earth.

  •  Solar panels produce electricity by transforming the continuous flow of energy from the sun to electricity
  •  No harmful emissions are released into the air when electricity is produced by solar panels
  • The photovoltaic process that transforms sunlight into electricity doesnt require any fuel and has no variable costs

Hydroelectricity is strength made by mills which can be pushed by way of movement of water. it also includes made with dams that block a river to make a reservoir or accumulate water that is pumped there. while the water is released, the stress behind the dam forces the water down pipes that cause a turbine. This causes the turbine to turn, which turns a generator which makes strength.

  •  The lake that forms behind the dam can be used for water sports and leisure pleasure activities

  • Once a dam is constructed, electricity can be produced at a constant rate

  • If electricity is not needed, the sluice gates can be shut, stopping electricity generation The water can be saved for use another time when electricity demand is high

  • Dams are designed to last many decades and so can contribute to the generation of electricity for many years decades.

The wind is a clean, unfastened, and readily available renewable energy supply. every day, round the world, wind turbines are capturing the wind’s energy and changing it to electricity. This source of energy era performs an more and more critical role within the manner we power our world.

  •  The wind is a clean, free, and readily available renewable energy source.
  •  Wind power is cost-effective
  •  Wind is a domestic source of energy
  •  Wind turbines can be built on existing farms or ranches
  •  This source of power generation plays an increasingly important role in the way we power our world.

Wave and tidal energy harvesting has been round for a few many years. however it has been most effective in recent years that it has started out to turn out to be more realistic because of increase in studies and technology. a few speculates that wave and tidal energy can supply at least 10 percentage of the sector's electricity consumption.

  •  It is an inexhaustible source of energy
  •  Tidal energy is environment friendly energy
  • As 71 of Earth’s surface is covered by water, there is scope to generate this energy on large scale
  •  Tidal Energy doesn’t require any kind of fuel to run
  •  The life of tidal energy power plant is very long

Geothermal Energy underground reservoirs of steam and hot water may be tapped to generate electricity or to heat and cool buildings at once. it has been used for heaps of years in a few countries for cooking and heating. it's simply power derived from the Earth’s internal heat.

Power transfer is the motion of power from one region to some other. for example, when electricity movements from a wall plug, via a charger, to a battery. energy transformation is when electricity modifications from one form to some other – like in a hydroelectric dam that transforms the kinetic energy of water into electrical energy. while energy may be transferred or transformed, the whole quantity of power does not change – this is known as energy conservation.

  •  Traditional and Nuclear Power planets convert thermal energy to mechanical energy to electrical energy.
  •  The release of stored energy from the various fuels to create the thermal energy in the first place.
  •  Photovoltaic (solar) cells convert radiant light energy into electrical energy.
  •  Hydroelectric converts potential energy to mechanical to electrical energy.

  •  Nuclear power uses fission splitting atom nuclei to produce energy
  •  Nuclear fusion joining atom nuclei also has potential for energy production
  • Around 6 of the worlds energy and 14 of the worlds electricity is produced by nuclear power
  •  There are over 400 nuclear power reactors in use around the world

Solar energy is any type of energy generated by the sun. Solar energy is created by nuclear fusion that takes place in the sun. Fusion occurs when protons of hydrogen atoms violently collide in the sun’s core and fuse to create a helium atom

The electricity gadget is a community which is composed technology, distribution and transmission machine. It makes use of the form of energy (like coal and diesel) and converts it into electric energy. The power system consists of the gadgets related to the system just like the synchronous generator, motor, transformer, circuit breaker, conductor, and so on.

  •  Reduced Plant Reserved Capacity.
  •  Increased Reliability of Supply.
  •  Increased Effective Capacity of Power System.
  •  Reduced Capital Costs.

All energy sources have some impact on our environment. Fossil fuels—coal, oil, and natural gas—do substantially more harm than renewable energy sources by most measures, including air and water pollution, damage to public health, wildlife and habitat loss, water use, land use, and global warming emissions.

Green power represents all of the clean sources of power which might be generated the use of the natural source of energy available on earth, that are friendly with environment liberating zero emissions and are also renewable. The green resources of electricity on planet Earth are produced by using nature or by way of the sun, so they're renewable and sustainable because they in no way run out.

  •  Green energy is competitive with other energy sources. Many types of green energy systems, like solar panels and wind turbines, are cheaper than they’ve ever been, and can help protect consumers from rising electricity rates.
  •  Green energy currently provides 22% of the world’s electricity. According to the Renewables 2014 Global Status Report, 22.1% of the world’s electricity was generated by green energy sources in 2013.

Renewable energy technologies allow us to create power, heat and gasoline from renewable sources. sun, wind, hydro, wave, warmth-trade, tidal, wave and bioenergy technology are all powered with the aid of the solar, directly or indirectly.
